Azure AI Studio Bootcamp: Hands-On Training for Developing AI Apps

Azure : Azure AI Studio Bootcamp: Hands-On Training for Developing AI Apps

Microsoft offers a platform called Azure AI Studio where you can efficiently develop, manage, and customize AI projects for various purposes. This platform is useful for creating chatbots, image/video generators, and personal assistants for work. A two-day workshop called “Azure AI Studio Bootcamp: A Hands-on Introduction to Developing AI Apps” teaches you how to use AI specifically for your needs and create your own AI assistants and chatbots.

The workshop begins with an overview of AI/ML, Azure, and Microsoft AI services like Azure OpenAI and Azure AI SDK. This foundation is essential for the practical exercises where you will learn to create your own chatbots and assistants step by step. Under the guidance of trainer Joel Galla, you will explore techniques such as prompt engineering and fine-tuning to adjust existing language models to suit your requirements.

The training is highly interactive and practical. During hands-on sessions, you will apply the knowledge you have gained. Through various exercises, you will create a simple chatbot, make initial adjustments, and develop a coding wizard. You will also learn how to integrate company-specific data and customize AI models accordingly.

Here are the workshop schedules:

  • March 6-7, 2025: Online Workshop, 09:00 – 17:00. A 10% early bird discount is available until February 5, 2025.
  • June 12-13, 2025: Online Workshop, 09:00 – 17:00. A 10% early bird discount is available until May 14, 2025.
  • October 1-2, 2025: Online Workshop, 09:00 – 17:00. A 10% early bird discount is available until September 2, 2025.

A central part of the workshop is learning about prompt engineering and fine-tuning. You will learn how to formulate precise prompts to get the best results from the AI model and how to use techniques like Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to minimize the risk of hallucinations. Additionally, you will learn how to continuously evaluate and improve your models.

The upcoming workshop on March 6-7, 2025, is designed for data engineers, data analysts, data scientists, and Python and SQL developers who want to gain a deeper understanding of developing and applying AI.

Your trainer, Joel Galla, is a Data Scientist at arelium GmbH. He helps companies with the introduction and use of Microsoft Azure, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.
