To achieve the best results, Google advises entering data in a consistent format with clear headings. The next step is to formulate the prompt to Gemini as precisely as possible to ensure the data is analyzed according to the user’s wishes.

The generated graphics are not linked to the data, so they do not update automatically if the data changes. Additionally, once inserted, the graphics cannot be altered. If changes are needed, a new graphic must be generated.

To use the new feature, users simply click the “Ask Gemini” button located at the top right corner of Sheets. The rollout of this update began on January 29 and is expected to be completed by February 20.
