In Hannover, an exciting event focused on the digital future is set to take place at the Old Town Hall on September 2, 2025. This event offers a platform for those shaping the digital transformation to exchange ideas and enhance their knowledge. This will be the third time the event is held, and it has grown significantly since its debut in 2023, doubling its participants to over 400 this year.
The program has been significantly expanded to focus more on the practical application of artificial intelligence and the future of work in companies. A new addition to the event’s offerings is the topic of data-driven business, which includes data analysis and data-supported business management.
Starting in January, monthly virtual discussions will be introduced. Jörg Mühle, a member of the management board at Heise Medien, along with Christian Bredlow and Marius Felzmann, co-founders of Horizons by Heise, will lead these discussions. They will cover intriguing topics such as:
- “AI Takes Over: Is the Traditional HR Department Becoming Obsolete?”
- “Flying Blind Without Data: How Lack of Data Management Can Lead to Ruin”
- “Skills Under Fire: What Employees Need to Master Tomorrow”
Additionally, for the first time, the Horizons CIO-Talk will go on tour, taking place in March in Düsseldorf and in July in Munich. Alongside the main event, popular side events will continue. These will focus on specific areas such as Women in Tech, IT Security, and Digital Administration.
The event is supported by funding from the acquisition budget of the City of Hannover. This funding aims to establish new conferences and trade fairs in the fields of technology, innovation, sustainability, and future trends.
